Na segunda-feira (03/07), policiais militares do 3º Batalhão Ambiental da Brigada Militar, flagraram a criação em cativeiro de pássaros silvestres no município de Liberato Salzano.
Sete pássaros da fauna silvestre, sendo 02 Azulão, 02 Trinca-ferro, 01 Cardeal, 01 Coleirinho e 01 Pintassilgo, estavam presos em gaiolas individuais, em uma residência.
As aves não possuíam anilha de identificação e não havia autorização do órgão ambiental competente para a criação dos pássaros silvestres.
O homem foi detido, sendo lavrado um Termo Circunstanciado. Os pássaros foram resgatados e encaminhados para avaliação médico-veterinária e, posteriormente, serão reinseridos ao habitat natural.
Foram apreendidas 10 gaiolas e 01 alçapão (armadilha usada para captura de pássaros).
